The project land covers nearly 100 hectares and is located less than 10 kilometres away from the Coolum Beach. This land is a flat farmland and has been a sugarcane farm for many years. It is adjacent to a solar farm operated by the local government of the Sunshine Coast. The site is easily accessible, close to the main road Yandina Collum Rd, and leads to Dynes Road.
The farm itself has internal roads that connect to the main road and has a complete drainage and irrigation system. The land is close to all facilities in Yandina town and Coolum Beach. The Bruce Highway to Brisbane or Gympie is also easily accessible, and it is only a 15-minute drive to the Sunshine Coast Airport.
VIMG plans to develop this site into a solar project that complements the surrounding solar farm.
